- Making a purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store and add any items that you wish to buy into the Shopping Cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' to view your order details. You will then be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
- Delivery Schedule
If your have placed your order before 2pm we aim to deliver your product as below:
- The next working day if in the UK
- Within 3 to 5 working days if in Western Europe
- Within 4 to 7 working days if in Eastern Europe
- Within 5 to 10 working days if in the rest of the world
Please note that our offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays - this means that any orders placed over the weekend will not be processed until the following Monday morning.
Items which are sent to an address other than that of the card billing address may be subject to confirmation with the card holder.
- Late or Lost Deliveries
Orders will be sent to the delivery address that you have given on your order form. We are not responsible if that delivery address is incorrect. Please note that we do not deliver to PO boxes. If you experience a problem with your delivery please contact us and we will do our best to help you trace it. We will provide you with the recorded delivery number so that you can enquire about your delivery at your local post office. In the event of a non-delivery we can only replace or refund the order after 15 working days when the Royal Mail are happy to classify the parcel is lost. Browne-Smith Ltd cannot be held responsible for late or lost delivery.
- Gift Boxes and Packaging
All gifts are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and packed in one of our luxury Browne-Smith gift boxes. Packaging is included in the price of your purchase.
- Returns
Provided that the goods are in an unused and perfect condition and in their original packaging, you can expect a full refund or exchange within 7 days of returning an item. Please note that delivery costs are non-refundable. You are responsible for postage when making a return. It is a good idea to send items by registered post, as we can only be responsible for goods returned in this way.

- Incorrect or Faulty Products
In the event that the contents of your purchase are faulty, incorrect or damaged in some way, you will need to return the good within 7 days of delivery. In this event, we will naturally refund you the cost of the return postage in addition to the cost of the goods and your original postage and packing charge. Please contact us at info@brownesmith.com and we will let you know the procedure to follow for returns.
- Payment
All prices are quoted in British Sterling (£) and have an exchange conversion in dollars and euros, which are to be used as an approximate guide only. We accept payment in British pounds sterling only. We accept payment by all major credit card or debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Maestro, and Electron. We do not accept American Express. If you are shopping from outside the UK place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction into your own currency.
You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason of the refusal. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.
We deliver to most countries. However local import duties and additional charges may be payable by the customer on receipt.
- Security
Online payment is provided in a secure environment and our online store is maintained on a secure server. Please contact us if you have any concerns about payment processing or online security.
- Intellectual Property
The "Browne-Smith" trade mark as well as all trade marks, whether they are figurative or not, and all other marks, trade names, service marks, brand names, business names, illustrations, images, logos, registered or unregistered designs, copyrights and patents ("Intellectual Property"), which appear on our Products, Web Store, accessories or packaging, whether registered or not, are and remain the exclusive property of Browne-Smith Ltd. Any reproduction, whether complete or partial, modification or use of the Intellectual Property, for whatever reason and in whatever medium, without our written, express and prior agreement, is strictly prohibited, as is any combination or use in conjunction with any other mark, symbol, logo and more generally any distinctive sign intended to form a composite logo.
- Exclusion of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Browne-Smith Ltd. disclaims and excludes all other terms, conditons and warranties in relation to the products and services whether express or implied by statute or otherwise or arising from any previous course of dealing or usage or trade practice. This section does not affect your statutory rights as a Customer.
- Limitations of liability
Force Majeure: Browne-Smith Ltd. shall not be liable to the Customer, or deemed to be in breach of any of the Conditions of the Contract whether set out in these Conditions or implied by Law or Statute by reason of any delay in performing due to events outside the control of Browne-Smith Ltd.
Browne-Smith Ltd. gives no warranties in relation to the website, in particular with limitation, any warranties regarding infringement and freedom from viruses. If you are dissatisfied with the website, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the website. This statement does not affect your statutory rights.
Browne-Smith Ltd. will have no liability to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss (including loss of profit), cost or damage (whether indirect, consequential, or otherwise) suffered as a result of your use of the website or from use information passed through the website, or products purchased from the website.
Our total liability for any claim whatsoever arising shall not exceed the price paid for the goods supplied by us to the customer, together with any postage costs incurred.
- Privacy Policy
Browne-Smith Ltd. do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
